New writer for My TV Obsession here, and I’m creating a whole new section called Show verses Show [or SVS for short]. Each night I will be analyzing the television line up and tell you what you should watch, and what you should DVR.
8pm:
Shows: ABC – Dancing with the Stars, CBS – 2 Broke Girls, NBC – The Voice, FOX – Bones, CW – Gossip Girl, ABC Family – Secret Life of the American Teenager
Top Shows: ABC – Dancing with the Stars vs. NBC – The Voice
Two reality shows…one winner. Who will it be???
ABC’s Dancing with the Stars is always a treat to watch, and it’s always entertaining watching celebrities try to dance. The good: This cast is full of AMAZING Dancers! The competition is so tough, we can’t tell who’s going home next. Also, tonight they are introducing a new “trio” dance, which should be interesting. The Bad: Some of the celebrities are just as famous as their dance partners.
NBC’s “The Voice” is their top show, hands down. Reality singing competitions are always fun to watch, but have we had enough??? The Good: I love watching the show to see what Christina will wear next. Also, the top 4 finalist are a lot better than the top 4 finalist on American Idol [Colton Dixon should have won]. The Bad: I’m over it. I’ve seen so many performances, I just want to know who will win. I would rather tune in tomorrow for the finale.

You’re probably thinking: “What??? I thought Dancing already won?!?!”
Well, it won the 8pm time slot, but it may not win the 9pm time slot. You can read the reasons why you should watch ABC’s Dancing with the Stars again above…it hasn’t changed in the last 30 seconds.
CW’s Hart of Dixie is a special treat, and a pleasure to watch. The Good: Hart of Dixie is getting better and better as the episodes go on! I can’t wait to see what happens tonight! The Bad: Low viewer ratings…which isn’t good for renewal.
Winner: Hart of Dixie – hands down! They need the viewer ratings! I’ll just DVR the rest of Dancing and watch it later.
10pm:
Shows: ABC – Castle, NBC – Smash, CBS – Hawaii Five-O
Top Shows: ABC – Castle vs. NBC – Smash
For each of these shows…I can’t say anything bad! It’s so hard to pick between these shows every week!!! One is always DVRed while the other is watched live…but which one wins this week???
Tonight’s Castle is the Season finale, and it looks like the CANNOT be missed episode. Smash, on the other hand, ended last week on a huge cliffhanger! Every week I watch Smash live and Castle on my DVR, but this week…
